Record Shoutcast MP3 Streaming

SHOUTcast is a server for streaming media developed by Nullsoft. It uses HTTP as a transport protocol, although multicast is another option.

SHOUTcast's streaming protocol uses metadata tags and responses that all start with ICY.

How to record shoutcast mp3 streaming audio by HiDownload

1.Download and install lastest version of HiDownload

2.Open shoutcast.com, click mouse right-button on a "Tune In" image, then select "Copy Link Location" menu.

3.Run HiDownload, and open "Add" window.

4.The Shoutcast radio's link is shown in the URL's editbox, and "stream" is "MP3 Streaming(Shoutcast, Icecast)"

3.clicked the "OK" button, HiDownload start to save the MP3 data to your PC.

4.After HiDownload save some songs, You can double-clicked the file in the list to play it.
